The weekend has been great. Good food, good friends, and great racing. What more could you ask for? – Sunday can make the turkey haze go away, and get you rolling toward bigger and better days. But, let’s just polish off this day on a winning note.

Nothing like a little Pick-Four Guarantee to get my racing blood pumping. This Saturday, there is a $250,000 Guarantee for races 7 through 10. Here is a ticket that I am going to put in play, and be sure to take a look at this wager as it has some growth potential.

How many dishes of turkey surprise can you eat? Well, go ahead and cleanse your palate and get ready to watch some races. I bet this will get you right back on-track, and before you know it. This weekend may just turn out to be a horn-of-plenty filled with winners.

The turkey fest is over, and before you get into another sandwich. There is a great day of racing to take a peak. Here are some runners from Fair Grounds, and they deserve a good look as the entire card is full of value.

Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks for all that we have in our life. Whether it is a neighbor, good friend, or family.  If you look, I am sure you will have no problem to find thanks in your heart. As I walk around the track, it is a certainty that I will not be a stone’s throw from a familiar face that has known me for years. But, one day we decided to get to know each other a little bit more.

Thanksgiving is a time for family, friends, and reflection. Enjoy this day of racing as Fair Grounds opens the doors for the 140th racing season. For horse players, this is the signal that the New Year is just around the corner and the chase for the first Saturday in May will be here before we know it.

This entire week has always been good for racing. As winter tracks get ready to open, and meets putting the finishing touches on their final days. You can count on getting some value filled races to fire away for this long weekend.

Hump day brings rain to most parts of the country. It can’t last forever, and by Thursday we will have something extra to be thankful as the weather gets a little more sun, and the tracks should be drying out.

At Mountaineer Park tonight, there will be a starter $5,000 race that holds quite a bit of attention. It is the Rapid Redux show, and it will be conducted on an off-track and full of runners that are looking to be the spoiler. But, I have to give credit to the track, as there is a very nice undercard that offers a Pick-Four that could end with a historical moment. So, if you are still up at 9:55 p.m. tonight. You might want to tune in and take a look at this blue collar guy looking to find the elusive number twenty tonight.
